Decimation are a band from Turkey that plays a very brutal and technical form of death metal and this is a review of their 2014 album "Reign Of Ungodly Creation" which will be released in December by Comatose Music.
A very heavy and brutal death metal sound starts off the album along with some blast beats and guttural growling vocals and you can also hear some melodies being added into the music after awhile and as the album progresses the band starts bringing in a good mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts.
You can hear a lot of 90's death metal influences in the bands musical style which they also update with the more modern and brutal style and the way they bring in technical parts are different from most bands of this genre since they do it in a brutal direction and they also avoid using any guitar solos and leads which also adds to the heaviness of the recording.
Decimation plays a style of death metal that is very brutal and technical and there is never a weak or soft moment in any of their tracks, the production sound s very professional while the lyrics cover Sumerian Mythology.
In my opinion Decimation are a very great sounding technical and brutal death metal band and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out this album.
